Fall/Winter Lookbook 2020/2021

Chinos are a wardrobe essential, timeless summer classics as practical as they’re versatile.
LOOK 2: THE CUSTOM POLO SHIRTS
Was any item in a gentleman’s wardrobe ever as versatile as the humble polo shirt? Nothing says smart-casual so much as the clean lines, the form-fitting shape and the neatly pressed collar of this design classic.
Wear them on the boardwalk in summer. Wear them on dress-down Fridays. Wear them to the golf club. Wear them long-sleeved with tweed when the winter sets in. Wear them out.
LOOK 3: THE CUSTOM SHIRT JACKET
Is it a shirt? Is it a jacket? The shirt jacket is a little bit of each and has consequently been saddled with the witty portmanteau, ‘shacket’.
Hollywood icons apart, the truth about shirt jackets is that, because they sit somewhere between a shirt and a jacket, they’re a tremendously versatile item. Shackets are ideal for spring and autumn, when the weather can turn on a dime.
In short, the shirt jacket is an all-purpose lightweight lifesaver that looks as good at the race meeting as it does in a board meeting (assuming your workplace has a fairly casual dress code).
LOOK 4: THE SENSZIO CUSTOM FIELD JACKET
Those with a maverick’s taste for bucking the trend will celebrate the resurgence of the field jacket. It’s a staple item of American counter-culture, a diversionary statement from suave twill and country tweed. An icon of street style.
Originally a military jacket from the 40s, the field jacket offers up four front bellows pockets. These obviated the need for a bag and freed up soldiers’ hands for guns and grenades.
The field jacket is a hip-length affair often characterized by epaulettes and a belt that stopped it snagging out in the bush. Today, the belt or drawstring simply offers an attractive cinched waist.
LOOK 5: THE SENSZIO CUSTOM TRENCH COAT
Few garments say handsome for a gentleman quite as well as the classic trench coat. It also carries an air of prestige and status. Maybe that can be attributed to the coat’s origins.
Our trench coat is a unique piece. It comes with our signature removable wool and cashmere lining. Retain the lining for warmth during the winter months. When summer comes around, simply remove the lining and you have a lighter, more breathable coat. The result is a garment that you can wear all year round.
LOOK 6: THE SENSZIO CUSTOM OVERJACKET
Introducing the Senszio Overjacket, a contemporary twist on the iconic military overcoat. The military-look overcoat always turns heads on the high street, draped over an arm at the theatre, or casually hung on the boardroom coat stand. It’s a bold, masculine look loaded with authority.
Ever the innovators, we’ve taken the traditional military overcoat and adapted it for the modern world. Introducing the Senszio Overjacket. It’s shorter than its forebear, yet it’s every inch an overcoat.
Our Overjacket keeps all the overcoat detail, yet adds a little contemporary flair. It’s a single-breasted closure with buttons and a zipper. It stops just above the thighs, but this is winter wear, so we took away the vents for cold-weather insulation.
LOOK 7: THE SENSZIO X LORO PIANA CUSTOM TAILORED SPORT JACKETS
A marriage of elegance and comfort, Loro Piana fabrics are made using the highest quality raw materials in the world, in their purest form or blended together. A sophisticated response to the dictates of contemporary elegance, these fabrics lend themselves to a wide range of styles to meet the varied needs of today’s wardrobe, from blazers to fancy jackets.
This winter, we have stocked very limited quantities of 3 Loro Piana Sport Jackets.
LOOK 8: THE SENSZIO X CERRUTI CUSTOM TAILORED TRAVEL SUITS
In collaboration with Biella-based Cerruti with whom we’ve worked with for over 10 years, we’re launching Traveller Suits.
Resistant to perspiration, creases, water & stains, the fabrics come in two weights: a lighter version for a more summery feeling, and a traditional version for jackets and suits ideal to be worn all year round. The variety of designs also include options for business or casual suits.
LOOK 9: THE CUSTOM SHAWL COAT
Shawl Lapels, Patch Pockets, Belted-Waistband and a Pleated-Back yield a casual look to the classic overcoat.
Select from a wide range of heavy wool fabrics (not cashmere) so you can preserve the minimal nature of this style.
LOOK 10: THE CUSTOM PEACOAT
Popularized by naval officers in the 1800s, this is an iconic naval coat which is traditionally made in a navy blue fabric though we have given it a modern flair.
The large collar & notch lapel are designed to be popped-up protect your neck from the wind. The side pockets include a warm lining on the inside.
LOOK 11: THE SENSZIO CUSTOM TAILORED FLIGHT JACKET
Originally designed for military use for pilots flying in open cockpits.
Featuring knitted wool waistband & cuffs, two flapped cargo pockets, two side-entry pockets, a collar-tab, suede undercollar and a zipper for fastening.
Perfect functionality to keep warmth and store small essentials with ease of movement and comfort. Easy to style with just about any look you might choose – perfect with shirts / Polos.
